AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Hello!

Welcome to the Pi Theta chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi, where you will find driven, passionate and charismatic women right in the heart of Miami. Since our local founding in 2001, we have been united by chance and bonded by our sisterhood. We have exceeded the expectation and inspired ambition while enriching our lives through the most incredible collegiate experience.

Being a part of Pi Theta means being a part of something bigger than yourself. Women join this organization without knowing what kind of impact it will have on them and throughout the years of being a sister in Pi Theta, you slowly learn why Pi Theta was meant to be part of your journey. Pi Theta is a home away from home and an adventure, all at the same time. It is a place that encourages you to discover yourself while showing you what it means to belong somewhere.

Joining this organization has changed my life in ways I never thought was possible. It has shown me the potential I never knew I had in myself and with that, it has taught me to be brave. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone and has taught me how to live uncomfortably. It has helped me discover my passions of service and leadership within my organization and in places beyond it. Pi Theta has molded me into the kind of woman I am today. I am eternally grateful to be a part of something so beautiful.  

The women of Pi Theta continue to motivate and inspire me every day. Pi Theta is home to empowered women. It is home to women who proudly and humbly hold positions throughout different student organizations in our university, who bring awareness to incredible causes while raising money for our philanthropies, who support each other on our best and worst days, and who never fail to love unconditionally. Throughout all these amazing experiences, Pi Theta has created a sisterhood and bond like no other.

The wonders of Pi Theta and Alpha Omicron Pi are constantly surprising. It is a love that never stops growing and a sisterhood that lasts beyond its four years. It is a powerful commitment full of endless possibilities and it is simply the experience of a lifetime.
